Great getaway spot! The hot springs and meals are amazing. It's a great deal for the price. The local staff is very helpful when you need it. You can even spend some time stargazing late at night.
There's not much to explore in the surrounding area, and it's a bit of a walk to get there from the train station. Plus, the language barrier can make communicating with the staff a bit tricky. Nonetheless, if you just want to relax in a peaceful environment or go hiking in the nearby mountains, it's perfect.

Quiet, local atmosphere. Helpful staff. On-site onsen. Inclusive breakfast and dinner.
Can honestly say there wasn't anything not to like.
